1. Agreement

Please read these official rules (the “Official Rules”) carefully. They contain important information about your rights and obligations, as well as limitations and exclusions that may apply to you if you enter the New York to Rome: The Unmapped Passage Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) sponsored by QC Terme NY LLC (the “Sponsor”).  

 

By participating in the Sweepstakes, you signify your agreement to these Official Rules, and to the Sponsor’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, each of which is incorporated herein by reference, and to the decisions of the Sponsor and RAVEN5 Ltd. (the “Administrator”). If you do not agree to the Official Rules, you may not enter the Sweepstakes. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Official Rules and any advertising or promotional materials relating to the Sweepstakes, these Official Rules will control.

2. Sweepstakes Period

The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on November 1, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on January 31, 2027 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). 

 

The Sweepstakes Period consists of three (3) monthly entry periods (each, a “Monthly Entry Period”), during which eligible entries for the applicable Monthly Grand Prize drawing must be received, as follows:
 

Monthly Entry Period One: 12:00:01 AM ET on November 1, 2026 through 11:59:59 PM ET on November 30, 2026. 

 

Monthly Entry Period Two: 12:00:01 AM ET on December 1, 2026 through 11:59:59 PM ET on December 31, 2026. 

 

Monthly Entry Period Three: 12:00:01 AM ET on January 1, 2027 through 11:59:59 PM ET on January 31, 2027. 

 

Each calendar day during the Sweepstakes Period constitutes a separate daily entry period (each, a “Daily Entry Period”), beginning when QC Spa New York opens and ending when it closes on the applicable day (with daily opening and closing hours published and updated at https://www.qcny.com/). Eligible entries for any Daily Entry Period must be submitted before the daily closing time of QC Spa New York on that calendar day to be considered timely. Sponsor is not responsible or liable if such published hours change, or if QC Spa New York is delayed in opening, closes early, or is closed for all or part of any calendar day, for any reason. The date and time recorded by the Sponsor’s or Administrator’s clock (or the QC Spa New York front-desk system used to record entries) shall be the official time for all purposes relating to the Sweepstakes, including determining the timeliness of any entry. 

 

Eligible entries received during a Daily Entry Period will be included in the applicable Daily Prize drawing and the Monthly Grand Prize drawing for the applicable Monthly Entry Period. Entries will not carry forward into any subsequent Daily Entry Period or Monthly Entry Period. 

 

3. Eligibility

The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia (“DC”) who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older at the time of entry (each, an “entrant” or “you”). In addition, each entrant must have a valid email address that is personal to the entrant and the entrant has access to at the time of entry, which will be used to administer the Sweepstakes and to contact and verify potential winners. Because each Monthly Grand Prize includes international travel to Rome, Italy, any potential Monthly Grand Prize winner and their selected guest must be legally able to travel internationally and must possess, or be able to obtain, a valid passport and all other travel documents required for such travel, as further described in Section 5. An entrant or guest who is unable to satisfy these requirements may be disqualified and forfeit the applicable prize without substitution. 

 

Employees, officers, directors, agents and representatives of the Sponsor, Administrator, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, prize suppliers, and advertising and promotion agencies involved in the administration, development, fulfillment or execution of the Sweepstakes (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Parties”), as well as the immediate family members (spouses, parents, siblings and children) of, and persons living in the same household as, any such individual, are not eligible to enter. 

 

The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. If it is determined that a person who does not meet the eligibility requirements set forth in these Official Rules has submitted an entry, the entry will be deemed ineligible. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility at any time. Void where prohibited by law. 

 

The Sweepstakes is void outside the fifty (50) United States and DC and wherever else it is restricted, taxed, or prohibited by applicable law. Any entrant who misrepresents their eligibility, provides false or misleading information, or otherwise fails to satisfy the eligibility requirements set forth in these Official Rules will be disqualified, and any prize awarded to such person is subject to forfeiture and must be returned to Sponsor upon request. 

 

 

4. How to Enter

During each Daily Entry Period, five (5) small containers or bottles, each containing a code (each, a “Hidden Key”), will be hidden at designated locations within QC Spa New York, located on Governors Island in New York, New York (“QC NY”). 

 

To enter, an eligible entrant must visit QC NY, locate a Hidden Key on the premises, and present it to the front desk on the same day it is found. The entrant must then provide all requested information, including their name and email address, to the front desk staff. The front desk staff will record the entry, including the applicable key code and the date and time the key was presented, and will retain the key. 

 

Alternate Method of Entry (no purchase or paid admission necessary): To enter without visiting or paying for admission to QC NY during a Daily Entry Period, hand-print your full name, complete mailing address, email address, telephone number, date of birth and the words “New York to Rome: The Unmapped Passage Sweepstakes” on a 3″ x 5″ card and mail it in a sealed, hand-addressed envelope with sufficient postage to: New York to Rome: The Unmapped Passage Sweepstakes, c/o QC Terme, 100 Wall Street, Suite 1700, New York, NY 10005. Mail-in entries must be postmarked within the applicable Daily Entry Period and received within five (5) business days thereafter. Limit one (1) Alternate Method of Entry per person per Daily Entry Period. Each timely and complete Alternate Method of Entry constitutes one (1) entry into the applicable Daily Prize drawing and one (1) entry into the applicable Monthly Grand Prize drawing and has the same chance of winning as an entry submitted by finding a key. 

 

Entrants participate in the on-premises key search entirely at their own risk. Entrants must not interfere with the operations of QC NY, its staff or other guests, must not enter any non-public, restricted, employee-only or hazardous area, and must not engage in any unsafe or disruptive conduct while searching for Hidden Keys. Hidden Keys will be hidden only in designated, publicly accessible locations. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to remove from the premises and to void the entries of any person who violates these Official Rules, creates a safety risk, or disrupts the operation of QC NY or the experience of its guests. 

 

Each eligible key presented and recorded during a Daily Entry Period constitutes one (1) entry into the Daily Prize drawing applicable to that Daily Entry Period and one (1) entry into the Monthly Grand Prize drawing for the applicable Monthly Entry Period. There is no separate entry process for a Monthly Grand Prize. 

 

Limit one (1) entry per person per Daily Entry Period, regardless of the number of keys found by an entrant during that Daily Entry Period. An entrant may enter during more than one Daily Entry Period but must locate and present a different Hidden Key during each applicable Daily Entry Period. Entries will not carry forward into any subsequent Daily Entry Period or Monthly Entry Period. Hidden Keys have no cash value, may not be transferred, and must be presented to the front desk by the person who found the key. Entries that are incomplete, inaccurate, submitted after the applicable deadline or otherwise fail to comply with these Official Rules will be void. If more than one (1) person claims to have found the same Hidden Key, or a dispute arises as to who found a particular key, the entry associated with that key will be determined by Sponsor and Administrator in their sole discretion based on the front desk’s records, and their determination is final; if the entrant associated with a key cannot be reasonably determined, that key and any related entry may be voided. 

 

Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility and to disqualify any individual who violates these Official Rules, in its sole discretion. Entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address provided at the time of entry. The “authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to the email address by the applicable internet service provider, online access provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses. 

 

By entering the Sweepstakes, you signify your agreement to these Official Rules and the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.qcny.com/privacy-policy and https://www.qcterme.com/privacy.  

 

Sweepstakes Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, invalid, unintelligible, garbled, delayed or misdirected Entries, all of which will be void. Incomplete, illegible or fraudulent Entries are also void. 

 

5. Prizes / Approximate Retail Value / Odds

Daily Prizes: 

 

One (1) Daily Prize will be awarded for each Daily Entry Period during the Sweepstakes Period, for a total of ninety-two (92) Daily Prizes. Each Daily Prize consists of one (1) certificate for all-access daily admission to QC NY. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each Daily Prize is $186 USD. 

 

Daily Prizes will be awarded as follows: 

1. November: thirty (30) Daily Prizes, with a total ARV of $5,580 USD;
2. December: thirty-one (31) Daily Prizes, with a total ARV of $5,766 USD; and
3. January: thirty-one (31) Daily Prizes, with a total ARV of $5,766 USD.

 

The total ARV of all Daily Prizes is $17,112 USD. Each Daily Prize certificate is subject to all terms, conditions, restrictions and expiration dates stated on or provided with the certificate. 

 

Monthly Grand Prizes: 

One (1) Monthly Grand Prize will be awarded for each Monthly Entry Period, for a total of three (3) Monthly Grand Prizes. Each Monthly Grand Prize consists of a trip for the winner and one (1) guest to Rome, Italy, including: 

 

1. round-trip, coach-class airfare for the winner and one (1) guest to Rome, Italy; 

1. three (3) nights’ hotel accommodation at QC Grand Hotel Roma, based on one (1) double-occupancy room; and 

1. a three (3)-day spa package at QC Spa Roma for the winner and their guest. 

 

The ARV of each Monthly Grand Prize is $4,550 USD. The total ARV of all Monthly Grand Prizes is $13,650 USD. The airfare component of each Monthly Grand Prize ARV assumes round-trip, coach-class travel departing from New York City. Airfare will be provided only to and from the designated departure market; if a winner or guest resides near the point of departure or would otherwise incur a lower travel cost, no substitution, upgrade, credit or difference in value will be awarded, and any difference between the actual value of the airfare and the stated ARV will not be awarded or paid in cash. 

 

The total ARV of all prizes available to be won is $30,762 USD. Limit one (1) Daily Prize and one (1) Monthly Grand Prize per person during the Sweepstakes Period. 

 

The odds of winning a Daily Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the applicable Daily Entry Period. The odds of winning a Monthly Grand Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the applicable Monthly Entry Period. 

 

Prize Conditions: 

Daily Prize certificates are valid for all-access, single-day admission to QC NY and are subject to all terms, conditions and restrictions stated on or provided with the certificate and available at https://www.qcny.com/terms-and-conditions. Reservations and admission are subject to availability at QC NY. Use of certain QC NY amenities may not be appropriate for individuals with certain medical conditions, including pregnancy. Winners and guests should consult and follow their physician’s advice before booking or visiting QC NY.  

 

Sponsor is not responsible for any Daily Prize certificate that is lost, stolen, damaged or used without authorization. Any costs or expenses not expressly included in a Daily Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Daily Prize certificates must be redeemed by December 31, 2027. Any Daily Prize certificate not redeemed by December 31, 2027 will expire and be forfeited without substitution. 

 

Administrator will contact each Monthly Grand Prize winner within approximately fifteen (15) days following verification to coordinate fulfillment of the prize, including the airfare, hotel accommodations and spa packages. Each winner must provide all information reasonably requested by Administrator for booking purposes, including at least three (3) preferred travel-date options and all required traveler and booking details within the timeframe requested by Administrator.  

 

Administrator will work with each winner to accommodate their preferences where reasonably possible; however, the booking method, departure airport, travel dates, itinerary and routing will ultimately be determined by Administrator and Sponsor in their sole discretion. All travel arrangements, including hotel and spa reservations, are subject to availability and any other terms, conditions and restrictions imposed by Administrator, Sponsor or the applicable service providers. 

 

The hotel accommodations and three (3)-day spa package are subject to all applicable booking terms, hotel policies and spa access regulations imposed by QC Grand Hotel Roma and QC Spa Roma, including those provided at the time of booking or check-in and available at https://www.qcterme.com/spa-access-regulation.  

 

Each Monthly Grand Prize winner may select one (1) guest to participate in the prize with them. The guest must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older as of the date of travel and must satisfy all applicable travel and prize-provider requirements. As a condition of participating in the prize, each guest must sign and return a Guest Liability/Publicity Release within the timeframe specified by Administrator and before any travel arrangements are finalized. 

 

Each winner and their guest must travel together on the same itinerary and on the dates approved by Sponsor. No changes to or deviations from the approved travel dates or itinerary will be permitted. Each winner and their guest are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining all identification, passports, visas and other travel documents required for international travel. Winners may be required to present a valid credit card at hotel check-in to cover incidental charges. 

 

Each Monthly Grand Prize must be booked, and travel must be completed by December 31, 2027. If a Monthly Grand Prize winner declines the trip or fails to book or complete travel by December 31, 2027, the prize will be forfeited without substitution. 

 

The Sweepstakes Parties are not responsible for, and assume no liability for, any act, error, omission, delay, cancellation, overbooking, downgrade, schedule change, strike, mechanical failure or other failure of performance by any airline, hotel, spa, transportation provider or other third-party service provider, or for any cancelled, delayed, postponed, missed or interrupted travel, or any resulting costs or expenses, including any disruption arising from weather, acts of God, force majeure, pandemic or epidemic, government action, or other circumstances beyond the Sweepstakes Parties’ reasonable control. Each winner is solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes (including all applicable income taxes) on the value of any prize won, and for all other costs and expenses not expressly included in the applicable prize, including, without limitation, travel insurance, baggage fees, ground transportation, meals, gratuities, passport and/or visa costs, hotel incidentals and personal expenses. 

 

Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are non-transferable, non-refundable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize, or any portion thereof, with a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason. All stated ARVs are estimates only and represent Sponsor’s good faith determinations as of the date of these Official Rules; the actual value of a prize may be less than the stated ARV, and no difference between the actual value and the stated ARV will be awarded, paid in cash or otherwise made up to any winner. All prize details not specified in these Official Rules will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. 

 

6. Winner Selection & Notification

Within seven (7) business day(s) following the end of each Daily Entry Period, Administrator will conduct the applicable Daily Prize drawing for that Daily Entry Period, and within seven (7) business days following the end of each Monthly Entry Period, Administrator will conduct the applicable Monthly Grand Prize drawing for that Monthly Entry Period. Administrator’s decisions regarding winner selection are final and binding. 

 

For each Daily Entry Period, one (1) potential Daily Prize winner and two (2) alternate potential Daily Prize winners will be randomly selected from among the eligible entries received during that Daily Entry Period. In addition, one (1) potential Monthly Grand Prize winner and two (2) alternate potential Monthly Grand Prize winners will be randomly selected from among all eligible entries received during the applicable Monthly Entry Period. 

 

Administrator will contact each potential winner within one (1) business day following the applicable drawing. Each potential winner must respond to the Administrator’s initial notification and sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release (unless prohibited by law) (collectively, the “Releases”) within seventy-two (72) hours of initial notification. In addition, each potential Monthly Grand Prize Winner will be required to complete and return an IRS Form W-9 within the timeframe specified by Administrator as a condition of prize acceptance. Sponsor will issue any applicable tax documentation as required by law. 

 

If a potential winner fails to respond or return the Releases within the required timeframe, declines the applicable prize, is determined to be ineligible, or if any notification is returned as undeliverable, the potential winner may be disqualified and forfeit all rights to the applicable prize. In such event, Administrator will contact the alternate potential winners in the order selected. If the initial potential winner and both alternate potential winners are disqualified, forfeit the prize or cannot be verified, the applicable prize will remain unclaimed and will not be awarded. The Sweepstakes Parties are not responsible for any failed, delayed, misdirected or undelivered notification resulting from incorrect, outdated or incomplete contact information provided by an entrant, from spam, junk-mail or other message filters, or from any other technical, network or communications failure, any of which may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the applicable prize. 

 

A potential winner is not a winner (each, a “Winner”) unless and until they have satisfied all applicable requirements and have been officially confirmed as a Winner by Sponsor or Administrator. Pursuant to NY CLS Gen Bus § 369-e, Sponsor or Administrator shall file a complete list containing the name, address, prize description, and delivery date of every Winner of a prize valued over $25 with the New York Secretary of State within ninety (90) days of the Sweepstakes’ completion, and shall maintain comprehensive records of the Sweepstakes for at least six (6) months following such completion. 

 

7. Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, entry into the Sweepstakes and acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to print, publish, broadcast, distribute and use, worldwide, in any media now known or hereafter devised and in perpetuity, each Winner’s name, city and state of residence and prize won, as news, publicity or information and for advertising, public relations and promotional purposes in connection with the Sweepstakes, without additional compensation, notification, approval or permission. This permission does not extend to a Winner’s photograph, image, likeness or voice, which Sponsor may use only where the Winner has signed a separate publicity release (such as the Liability/Publicity Release referenced in Section 6) and, in any jurisdiction that requires a Winner’s prior written consent for the use of name or likeness for advertising or trade purposes, only to the extent such consent is given. 

 

In addition, each Winner grants Sponsor permission to disclose their first initial, last name, city and state of residence to any person requesting a list of the Sweepstakes winners, without additional compensation, notification or permission. 

 

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, by participating in the Sweepstakes and, if applicable, accepting a prize, each entrant, on behalf of themselves and their heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, releases, waives, discharges and holds harmless the Sponsor, Administrator and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, successors, assigns, prize suppliers, and advertising and promotion agencies involved in the administration, development, fulfillment or execution of the Sweepstakes (collectively, the “Releasees”) from and against any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, actions, causes of action, liabilities, costs, personal injuries, property damage or death arising directly or indirectly from participation in the Sweepstakes or the awarding, acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize. 

 

Each entrant expressly waives any rights or benefits available under Section 1542 of the California Civil Code, or any comparable law of any other jurisdiction, which states: “A general release does not extend to claims that the releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the released party.” 

 

ALL PRIZES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, BY THE RELEASEES. 

 

The Releasees are not responsible for: (a) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (b) technical failures of any kind, including malfunctions, interruptions or disconnections in network hardware or software, or point-of-sale or key-tracking systems; (c) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (d) any technical or human error that may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; or (e) any late, lost, misdirected or unrecorded entries. The Releasees reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to void any entries affected by such errors and to modify, suspend or terminate the Sweepstakes as provided in these Official Rules. 

 

Without limiting the foregoing, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Releasees shall not be liable for any personal injury, illness, disability or death, or any loss of or damage to property, arising directly or indirectly from an entrant’s or guest’s acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, including any use of the spa, wellness, hydrothermal or travel components of any prize, all of which are undertaken voluntarily and at the entrant’s and guest’s own risk. 

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Releasees’ total aggregate liability to any entrant arising out of or relating to the Sweepstakes shall not exceed the actual retail value of the single prize that such entrant is eligible to receive. In no event shall the Releasees be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, whether based on contract, tort or any other legal theory and even if advised of the possibility of such damages. 

 

9. General

Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in any Sweepstakes-related materials, the administration of the Sweepstakes or the announcement of the prizes. All monetary values stated in these Official Rules are in United States dollars. Sponsor has established a special trust account or secured a surety bond in favor of the People of the State of New York in an amount equal to $30,762 (the total value of all prizes offered herein) in compliance with NY CLS Gen Bus  § 369-e. 

 

By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and by the decisions of Sponsor and Administrator, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any person it believes has tampered with the Hidden Keys or the entry process, attempted to circumvent the entry limit, provided false or misleading information, or otherwise intentionally violated these Official Rules. 

 

If the Sweepstakes is not capable of being conducted as planned for any reason, including without limitation by reason of fraud, tampering with the Hidden Keys or the entry process, unauthorized intervention, technical or computer failures or errors, corruption or loss of data, computer virus, or any other cause beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control (including, without limitation, epidemics, pandemics, public-health emergencies, quarantines, acts of God, fire, flood or other natural disaster, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor dispute, or any action, order or restriction imposed by any governmental or regulatory authority) that corrupt or adversely affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, in whole or in part. In such event, Sponsor may award any prizes that have not yet been awarded through random drawings from among the eligible entries received before the applicable action was taken. 

 

10. Disputes

Except where prohibited, entrants agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate state or federal court located in New York County, New York, U.S.A. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrants’ rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to any choice-of-law or conflict-of-law rules that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of New York. The remedy for any claim shall be limited to actual damages, and in no event shall any party be entitled to recover punitive, exemplary, consequential or incidental damages, including attorneys’ fees or other costs of bringing a claim, or to rescind these Official Rules or seek injunctive or other equitable relief. For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in this Section 10 limits, expands or supersedes the releases, waivers and limitations of liability set forth in Section 8, and Section 8 shall control in the event of any conflict. 

 

THE PARTIES HEREBY WAIVE THEIR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL WITH RESPECT TO ALL CLAIMS AND ISSUES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SWEEPSTAKES OR THESE OFFICIAL RULES, WHETHER SOUNDING IN CONTRACT OR TORT, INCLUDING ANY CLAIM OF FRAUDULENT INDUCEMENT. 

 

11. Privacy

Personal information provided in connection with the Sweepstakes is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.qcny.com/privacy-policy.  

 

Personal information collected in connection with the Sweepstakes will be used by Sponsor and Administrator as necessary to administer and operate the Sweepstakes, including contacting and verifying potential winners and fulfilling prizes. Personal information may be shared with the Sweepstakes Parties and service providers as necessary for these purposes and may otherwise be used as permitted by Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.
