How do I get to QC New York?

Access to Governors Island is available via ferry. Please visit this link for details on how to travel to QC New York. Ferry admission is included with your entrance pass. The ferry schedule and reservation information can be found here. The Battery Maritime Building (BMB) ferry in lower Manhattan offers round-trip transportation and is included in your entrance price. The 1 Train to South Ferry and the R/W to Whitehall are both conveniently located near the terminal. The BMB slip is to the left of the Staten Island ferry, near Cipriani's.

What is the QC New York experience?

QC New York offers an oasis of wellness in the heart of New York City. This is where the city comes to spa. To enjoy all of our spa amenities, please book your reservation. You will find sessions every hour with the first time slot starting at 10am. During your session you will have access to our signature wellness experience and spa amenities; which includes outdoor gardens, infinity pools, saunas, steam baths and relaxation rooms. While sitting poolside you can relax while enjoying the skyline of New York Harbor. Massage services, food and beverages are available for purchase.

What is included?

Tranquility and wellness begins at the door. Upon entry, you are greeted with everything you need. The spa will provide robes, towels and sandals. You will also find shampoo, conditioner, and essential hair and body products. You will receive a locker with a private code that will ensure your personal items are stored safely during your stay.

What do I need to bring to the spa?

Please remember to bring your bathing suit and a pair of sunglasses. It is also recommended to bring sunscreen to protect your skin from the sun.

What is the entrance price?

Spa entrance provides you access to our Wellness Spa and amenities. Entry begins at $88, depending on date and time of entry. Please note additional fees apply for massages, food and beverage.

Can I exit and re-enter the spa?

Once you enter the wellness center, your reservation is activated. You may not leave and re-enter using the same reservation.

What is the difference between weekend, weekdays and holidays?

Weekdays are Monday through Thursday, while the weekend is considered Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Holidays are noted below and the weekend/holiday rate applies. Holidays are considered: New Year’s Day, MLK Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Year Holiday [December 27 - December 30]

How can I change my reservation?

Once you book a reservation, you will receive an email confirmation. This email will include a link where you can manage your booking. Please enter your confirmation information to begin your reservation changes. You can also visit our website and click ‘book here’ to access our reservation system. At the bottom of this page, click ‘manage booking’ to make changes to your reservation.

Why can't I book certain time slots?

The time slot selected in your reservation guarantees your entrance. Any missing time slots in the "book" section of our website indicates entrance is not available, therefore we can guarantee entry. Please select from the available time slots. If a guest arrives at the outside the reserved time slot, access will be allowed only if there is availability. This is based on reservation for the day and capacity.

Do you have a restaurant?

Food and drinks are available for purchase and enjoyed in our bistro.

If I have a health condition, may I still visit?

It is not recommended to visit the spa if you are pregnant, suffer from a heart condition, high blood pressure, recently underwent surgery or have any other significant illness. Please consult your doctor and call our center at +1 646-402-9647 for further information.

Is there a minimum age requirement?

You must be 21 years or older to enter the wellness center. A valid ID will be required and checked upon entry.

What happens if there is bad weather?

QC New York will be open 365 days a year precluding dangerous weather conditions, states of emergency, or other unforeseen advisories that would force the ferry system to temporarily close. If you are concerned about your reservation, please contact our center at +1 646-402-9647. Rest assured, our guest relations team will contact you to help reschedule your spa experience.

Are you open in the winter?

Yes, we are open year round. Our pathways and pools are heated so our guests will never have to worry about the snow. We also have heated robe hangers for our poolside guests in the colder months.

What is the difference between gift cards and gift certificates?

A gift card is similar to a credit card. It contains a value and can be used as a form of payment when purchasing an entrance, massage or product. If you would like to redeem a gift card please visit our booking page. Continue your booking journey and add the gift card details as a form of payment. A gift certificate is a special purchase that was made for a specific entrance or massage. To find out what your gift contains and redeem, please visit our booking page and enter the gift certificate details to begin your journey.

How can I purchase a gift card or gift certificate?

To purchase a gift card or gift certificate, simply follow the procedure on our Online Shop. Gift recipients can later choose the date they prefer and book admission or massages on our website.

Can I send a gift card or gift certificate via email?

Yes. You may purchase a gift card or gift certificate directly from our website. This gift can be emailed directly to an email address of your choice.

Safety Measures

Is it safe to visit?

QC New York is committed to creating the safest, most luxurious and tranquil environment possible. Your comfort is, and will always be, our number one priority. We use state-of-the-art equipment to ensure our facility is safe and have further enhanced our cleaning protocols. We continue to follow all government and CDC guidelines to ensure the safest environment for our guests and staff.

Will I have to wear a mask?

In accordance with Governors Island guidelines, face coverings are required while queuing, boarding and disembarking Governors Island ferries. Masks are not required in the outdoor gardens, saunas, steam rooms or in the pools. All QC New York employees will also follow CDC guidance and wear a mask for your safety and wellbeing.

What precautions are in place for services like massages?

Therapists are required to wear a mask throughout your treatment. As always, massage rooms are cleaned and sanitized between every guest. Rooms are also sanitized with ample time allotted between appointments to ensure effective disinfection and aeration. Fresh linens are prepared for each guest to ensure the highest level of sanitation.

Do I need to be vaccinated?

In accordance with the Executive Order from the Mayor of NYC and Key to NYC, all guests and employees must show proof they have received at least one dose of a vaccine authorized by the Food and Drug Administration or by the World Health Organization.

What type of proof of vaccination is accepted?

Sufficient proof may be demonstrated by displaying a photo or hard copy of a CDC vaccination card, the Excelsior Pass, the NYC COVID Safe app or an official government record of approved vaccines by the World Health Organization.

If I am not vaccinated, can I get tested instead?

The Executive Order from the Mayor of NYC and Key to NYC does not permit testing in lieu of vaccination. For additional information on the Executive Order and vaccinations, please click here.

If I forget my proof of vaccination, can I still visit?

The Executive Order from the Mayor of NYC and Key to NYC does not permit entry without vaccination. We suggest saving a photo of your vaccine information on your mobile device or utilizing an approved vaccination app. Proof of vaccination is required for entry.
